How to play Blackjack
Beat the dealer's hand without going over 21. Nothing is staked on it: the hand itself is the game.
These are the rules for the PlayBurst version. Other versions may play differently.
Rules and controls
1. Two cards each
Face cards are ten, an ace is one or eleven, whichever helps. The dealer keeps one card face down.
2. Hit or stand
Hit for another card, stand to keep what you have. Over 21 and the hand is lost whatever the dealer does.
3. Split a pair
Two cards of the same rank can be played as two hands, each drawing its own cards. Split aces take one card each and stand.
4. One card
Commits you to exactly one more card and then a stand, decided before you see it. Only on your first two cards.
5. The dealer plays
The dealer draws to 17 and takes another card on a soft 17. Closest to 21 wins.
6. Blackjack
An ace with a ten on the first two cards is a natural, and it settles the hand where it stands.
