How Checkers works
Take all of the other side's pieces, or leave them with no move.
Read the full Checkers rules and tips1. Move diagonally
Pieces move one square diagonally forward, onto a dark square.
2. Jump to capture
Jump straight over an enemy piece to the empty square beyond it, and that piece is taken. If a jump is available you must take one, and keep jumping with that piece while another capture is available.
3. Crown a king
Reach the far row and your piece becomes a king. Kings here fly: they slide any distance along a clear diagonal, forwards or back, and jump from a distance.
