How to play Ten Tasks
Be the first to finish all ten tasks, one hand at a time.
These are the rules for the PlayBurst version. Other versions may play differently.
Rules and controls
1. Read your task
The task you are on is written above the table. Everyone starts on task one, and you can only ever be working on your own.
2. Take a card, throw a card
Every turn is the same shape: take the face up card or one nobody has seen, then throw one away. Your hand is ten cards between turns.
3. Lay it down
The Lay down button lights up the moment your hand can do the task. It puts the cards out for you, so you never have to work out which six of your eleven cards it meant.
4. Then get rid of the rest
Once your task is down, Play on adds every card you can to anything on the table, yours or theirs. A run grows at either end and a set grows forever.
5. Go out and move on
The hand ends when somebody runs out of cards. Anyone who laid their task down moves to the next one, and anyone who did not plays the same task again.
