How Gin Rummy works
Get your hand into sets and runs, then knock before the other player does.
Read the full Gin Rummy rules and tips1. Draw and discard
Take the top of the stock or the discard pile, then throw one card away.
2. Build melds
A meld is three or more of a rank, or three or more in sequence in one suit.
3. Knock
When your unmatched cards add up to ten or less, press Knock and then throw the card you are knocking on. Gin is all ten cards melded, and scores twenty-five over the other hand.
