How War works
Win every card in the deck. The whole game is luck, and it is meant to be.

Both players turn their top card at once. The higher card takes both.
2. War
Equal cards mean war: three cards face down each and a fourth face up. The higher of those takes the lot, and equal again means another war.
3. Down to your last cards
A player who cannot spare three keeps one back to turn up and lays the rest. A player with nothing left to turn up loses the pot, and the game with it.
