How Blocks works
Sort every block’s letters so all four rows and all four columns read as words.
Read the full Blocks rules and tips1. Read the blocks
Heavy lines cut the grid into blocks of two, three or four squares. A block holds those letters, but not in that order, and the letters it still has spare are printed in its empty squares.
2. Tap to place a letter
Each tap moves a square to the next letter its own block has left, then back to empty. A square can never take a letter from a different block, so the only thing to work out is the words.
3. Watch the rows and columns
A row or column turns red once it is full and is not a word. Nothing is marked while it still has a gap in it, so a half-finished line is never called wrong.
Questions
About Blocks.
What is the goal of Blocks?
Sort every block’s letters so all four rows and all four columns read as words.
Is Blocks free?
Yes. Blocks is one of 48 games in PlayBurst, a single free app. It is free, nothing is locked in front of it, and no purchase in the app unlocks a game: the shop sells coins and removing the ads, and that is all it sells.
Can I play Blocks without a connection?
Yes. Blocks runs on your device rather than on a server, so it keeps working on a plane or in the back of a car. The first launch of PlayBurst reaches out once to set up your guest account, and opens anyway if it cannot.
Where can I get Blocks?
Nowhere yet. PlayBurst is not out on any store at the time of writing. The Amazon Appstore comes first, for Fire tablets, then Google Play and the App Store, and the links land on this page the day they exist.
