How Rungs works
Turn the top word into the bottom one, changing a single letter at a time.

The top rung and the bottom rung are given to you. The three between them are yours to fill, and every rung is a four-letter word.
2. Change one letter
Each rung must differ from the one above it by exactly one letter, in any position. COLD, CORD, CARD, WARD, WARM is a finished ladder.
3. Type into a rung
Tap a rung to choose it, then use the keyboard underneath. The backspace takes off the last letter you typed, on this rung or the one above.

What is the goal of Rungs?

Is Rungs free?
Yes. Rungs is one of 48 games in PlayBurst, a single free app. It is free, nothing is locked in front of it, and no purchase in the app unlocks a game: the shop sells coins and removing the ads, and that is all it sells.
Can I play Rungs without a connection?
Yes. Rungs runs on your device rather than on a server, so it keeps working on a plane or in the back of a car. The first launch of PlayBurst reaches out once to set up your guest account, and opens anyway if it cannot.
Where can I get Rungs?
Nowhere yet. PlayBurst is not out on any store at the time of writing. The Amazon Appstore comes first, for Fire tablets, then Google Play and the App Store, and the links land on this page the day they exist.
